The Salt and Light ministry has featured in a number of newspaper articles covering inner-city work in Glasgow, on the BBC's Songs of Praise, BBC Radio Scotland's "Let's Do The Show Right Here". BBC TV’s Gaelic, Cul Man Dordan documentary in 2009. The ministry also took part in the 2009 Edinburgh Festival Cavalcade and features frequently in the local and national news and media.
In May 2009 Anne Wallace, founder and co-ordinator of the ministry won a Daily Record “Hero of the Year” award in the category of Volunteering Hero. Anne was also nominated for the News of the World’s “Big Hearted Scotland” Award and won a specialized category award.
